Hello friends! It’s been a little while since I’ve posted on my sewing blog! Things have been crazy busy with my new book, and I’m currently writing the next one. I’m about halfway through it and hoping to be finished by Christmas. Fingers crossed!
I would like to invite you over to my author blog where I post a few times a week – sometimes about writing and publishing, sometimes about my adventures in the creative world. I’m going to be posting my sewing adventures over there too, so please pop in and visit! You can even sign up to receive my blog posts by email (just type in your email address under blog subscription) so you won’t miss any news, fun, or giveaways.
I hope you are having a wonderful fall! Can you believe the holiday season is upon us?? Time goes so quickly these days… if only we could figure out how to slow things down a little. ;)
Happy crafting and sewing!
Look what came in the mail yesterday – the very first copy of my book! Want to win it? Just visit my facebook page, leave a comment and you’re entered to win. New visitors who “like” my author page will be entered as well.
Contest ends September 5th. Good luck! And thank you all, so much, for your support and excitement as I begin this writing adventure with my debut novel!
I haven’t been sewing for a little while, but I do have a good excuse for my absence…
My debut novel is coming out in September! Don’t you just love the cover? I’m so pleased with the designs that my publishers chose. And I’m so excited to share my book with you!
I’ll be posting upcoming info on my author Facebook page, so pop over and join me if you want the updates.
Hopefully I’ll get back into my sewing projects now that things are calming down here a little. And although I haven’t been very good at leaving comments, I have been visiting your blogs and love the projects you’re posting! You all are so inspiring!
This sprocket pillow was super fun to make, and really easy too! Find the tutorial here, from Allison at Cluck Cluck Sew.
Don’t you just love sewing gifts for friends? And then teasing them with little sneak peeks when you’re finished? :)
