Lucky Seven

A photo from my kitchen table this morning. Hope it brings a little sunshine to your day!

Two of my favorite writing bloggers, C.B. Wentworth and Bryna of The Everyday Epic, sent a fun little game my way.  It’s called Lucky Seven, and I’m supposed to:

1. Go to page 77 of your current manuscript or work in progress

2. Go to line 7

3. Copy down the next 7 lines – sentences or paragraphs as they are written.

Here’s what I found:

Quiet laughter rumbled in Matt’s chest. He could picture the day, see her, as clear as if they‘d transported twenty years back in time.

“I remember a handsome boy, a few years older than me, walking toward us,” she said.  “I was sure he‘d ask one of the other girls to dance.” Her smile grew and Matt could see that she knew.  She remembered. “But he didn’t ask one of them. He asked me.”

“And what did you think of him?”

Her hand moved to his chest. Brushing soft fingers over his shirt, she gave the fabric a slight tug.

Ha ha!  That’s all you get.  😀    Thanks for including me in the fun, C.B. and Bryna!
